Over the course of his career, retail and consumer strategy professional Matthew Hamory has demonstrated a keen business acumen and a knowledge of both domestic and world markets. He has served since 2015 as a principal in the Boston office of KPMG, through which he has co-authored a paper on maintaining and expanding success for clients in competitive consumer markets. Matthew Hamory also works directly with the executives of client companies, whom he assists in driving growth and responding to potential threats from both traditional and disruptive new competitors.

Matthew Hamory comes to this role following 16 years with Oliver Wyman, where he began as an analyst and rose to the position of partner in just over a decade. Mr. Hamory also stands out as former chief operating officer of Oliver Wyman's global Retail and Consumer practice, and as three-year co-lead of the firm's North American recruiting endeavors. While serving in this role, he improved the recruiting process and experience for both experienced professionals and new college graduates.

An avid runner in his free time, Matthew Hamory has participated in the Boston Athletic Association's half marathon, 10k, and 5k competitions, as well as the city's Memorial Day Run to Remember. He is also extremely active in fund raising and support functions for the Tenacre Day School, where he has created and managed such events as the School Clean-up and the Dad's Group Campout.
